I'm a long time user of Evernote for Windows and I use 'Evernote for Android' on my Galaxy smartphone to transfer photos I snap on the device or photos snapped by other individuals and sent to my mobile via EMS. I save the individual photo to Gallery on the device, then to Evernote and then synch. I occassionally transfer multiple photos from Gallery to desktop using OneDrive or Dropbox then delete from gallery on the phone.
