Your detailed chart confirms that radiosondes agree pretty well with satellites. For most of the 35 years, they were virtually identical. There have been a handful of years recently where radiosondes gave higher temps, but there were a similar number of years back in the late 90's where the opposite occurred. All in all, pretty right on.



About the adjustments to UAH, notice there have been only a handful of adjustments over a period of decades. The adjustments go in both directions and are one time adjustments and are well described. Totally different from the surface adjustments that are made monthly, are produced by statistical models, have no detailed descriptions provided.
