Interesting question on the U.L. Approval. If they are not, knowing what I know about electronics, I believe it would not be a problem at all to gain approval. I certainly can see the wisdom in seeking such an approval from U.L. considering biometrics are to be used in ATM machinces and such and most are exposed to different sorts of severe weather. I will forward this particular question to IDX as well as the U.L. link for their response. I'm betting that this base has already been covered, but who knows! Sometimes the cart still gets in front of the horse.
