Roebear:

Over a period of many years, the correlation between silver and the producing companies will wax and wane from 0.5-1.5. The function driving the variance is sentiment for, against, or ambivalence toward one versus the other: the traded companies as opposed to the commodity. I often find misalignments create better opportunity in one than the other, although, I havent't found it to persist very long before rationalization occurs. I believe it is important to take advantage of the opportunity while one is able.

I have, in light of the market for gold and silver, purchased Battle Mountain Gold this week. My gut instinct is we're on the cusp of a very dramatic move in the near term, possibly a matter of weeks.

Yours, T.V.H.
