There is no way that the Democrats will be able regain a majority in the House before 2022 at the earliest. They could easily get more total votes and probably will as they did in 2012 and I think even in 2014, but the gerrymandering of 2010 was too accurate to overcome. It has become too easy to identify voters and politicians have lost any shame that they may have once had about shaping districts to their liking.
