Good holidays for PC makers, means good 'vibrations' for Intel,no?

John & thread: seems PC makers did pretty well after all, during the
holidays, should be good news for Intel.

Two different schools exist for interpretation of short int. Right before the oct. debacle intel had highest short interest for '97 at least. Went down like a rock. Study done at MIT suggests high sht int can ultimately depress stock price for up to two years. We may get a short pop though. I'm long but would trade around my position should an opportunity present itself -- like warrants for that.

Actually, this isn't very much. You have to take into account avg. daily volume and # of shares outstanding, plus most of the stocks on the NASDAQ are smaller companies, Intel and MS not withstanding.
