<<<<< It seems like Obama constantly was doing whatever was necessary to avoid conflict.>>>>

Koan, you're delusional. You don't think the capital he put forward to get health care passed was meeting conflict head on? Holy shit man, he couldn't have taken over a more confrontational issue if he had of gone out and looked for it. Or how about the agreement just completed with Iran? That met with conflict on both the left and right. Or how about the climate agreement? Or how about Cuba! Both republicans and democrat presidents left this ridiculous embargo in place; leaving it to a President with balls willing to meet conflict head on. Or the issue of allowing States to legalize pot. You should appreciate that - highly highly controversial. Or gay marriage? Or food safety? And lately he has been doing things from Presidential proclamation because he can't get any help in congress so he just does it. And the climate change? Shit koan the list is endless of the very controversial things he was able to get done. I read some of your comments and I just am ..........bewildered. And that is a very kind word for what I am really thinking.

I understand.

My view is that sometimes you take a step back before you take two steps forward. A one term crazy ass Republican as President might wake up the country, assuming we survive it...

I am sticking with Bernie. Hillary is just Bill without many of his moral failings.

Ben & Jerry's Co-Founder Wants You to Eat the Bern
Bernie Sanders gets his own ice cream flavor

(NEWSER) – Those who feel the Bern can now eat their feelings, thanks to one of the founders of Ben & Jerry's. To honor fellow Vermonter Bernie Sanders, Ben Cohen unveiled a limited-edition batch of "Bernie's Yearning"—plain mint ice cream covered by a milk-chocolate disc, Politico reports. "Open Joyfully: Political Revolution Inside" is the directive on the pint container shown on the website Cohen has set up to promote the product (both he and Ben & Jerry's note that Cohen created this on his own).

What the disc represents is "the huge majority of economic gains that have gone to the top 1% since the end of the recession. Beneath it, the rest of us," per the back of the container. "Jerry [Greenfield] and I have been constituents of Bernie Sanders for the last 30 years," Cohen writes on the site. "We've seen him in action and we believe in him." Cohen is only whipping up 40 pints of the frozen treat, 25 of which are going right to Bernie's campaign. Interested parties can try to win one of the remaining pints on the site. (Another thumbs-up for Sanders came from Walter Scott's lawyer.)
