Last I heard ID was maximizing Quake II for the MediaGX by replacing
the FPs with Integer math. What is Quite well in Frames per Second?
I wasn't interest in a comparison with a Pentium 166 but to a PII
which is what the MediaGX is usually compared to.

Anyways NSM/CYRIX was supposedly working on better Floating point
anyways.
