Texas Dude: FYI Conventional wisdom is that high short interest is bullish in the short term (for the reasons you mentioned) but bearish in the long run (in the majority of cases, there's a reason for the shorting).

P.S. I have owned both OXHP and Centennial during the last year. The claims of companies and their officers are, in my opinion, just that. I hope I can be forgiven for not being overly swayed by CEO claims, one way or the other. I prefer to let the balance sheet and other somewhat objective data influence me the most.
