We'll see. My guess is that this is just a gambit. He'll go to the debate and if he gets asked a question that he deems tough that others aren't asked, he can just say, "This is what I'm talking about! Why not ask [xxx] a question like that? Why do you want to be unfair to me? What have I done to you to provoke this behavior?"

Or some such thing. The man is a PR genius. Or has a PR genius working for him. He knows exactly how to deliver his lines and understands how to manipulate journalists/TV commentators, impress and wow the public, and stun and intimidate other candidates. He is giving a clinic. One of the necessary conditions is to be able say things that others would censure themselves about. In the past, those things were left to guys like Atwater and Ailes and other surrogates, not the candidate. Trump says these things, he repeats them, and he claims to be saying them reluctantly--he was "forced" to speak the truth, what else could he do? He has no choice, he is a truth teller. Bill is a rapist, Hillary an enabler, Bush low energy, Cruz an unlikeable Canadian who can't along with anyone. He feels sorry he has to say it, but it is true.

Zing, zap, wham, bam, out for the count!
