Dear MChen: Welcome aboard!! I do not think this is Y2K mania as I own 3 Y2K stocks that currently are flat (ALYD, PTUS, MAPX). As for myself, I think that SYNT just resembles IMRS so much that perhaps now is the time for SYNT to emulate IMRS stock price activity. Could be some institutional involvement as volume has been quite high. Finally, this stock has previously been as high as about 18 so to my mind it is merely retracing steps at this point. If it breaks 18 THEN I will believe something wonderful is happening. JDN
