Oracle's Promise is pleased to announce Oracle Corporation's sponsorship of
"Keeping America's Promise," a nationally broadcast television program airing
December 27, 1997 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on the FOX Network

"Keeping America's Promise" vividly highlights Oracle's efforts to bring network
computing access to the most economically-challenged, disenfranchised public schools
in the world. The program also features interviews with Presidents Clinton, Bush,
Carter, Ford and Mrs. Nancy Reagan (representing Ronald Reagan); with comments
and performances by a number of well-known entertainers including: Richard Dreyfus,
Trisha Yearwood, Tony Bennett, Andrew Shue, Jimmy Smits, Wynonna, Jon Secada,
L.L. Cool J., Michael Bolton, etc. "Keeping America's Promise" is narrated by
General Colin L. Powell, Chairman of the multi-year, national service campaign,
America's Promise - The Alliance For Youth. We hope you and your family will watch
the program, and encourage you to bring "Keeping America's Promise" to the attention
of our partners and customers.

Oracle's Promise provides network computers to economically-challenged,
disenfranchised public schools. The program was announced on June 24th at Radio
City Music Hall with General Powell. On September 20th, President Clinton publicly
thanked Oracle Corporation for our work with Oracle's Promise, and our commitment
to supporting America's public school system. Since then, we have been testing
network computers in several California schools, and soon will be announcing how
Oracle's Promise will expand program activities in the United States, and then
worldwide. Look for this announcement in the first calendar quarter of 1998.
