Wonder if the Y2K update works with the OEM Windows 95 (Win94b, the FAT 32 version)? I'm using this version because I put in a 3.2 gig HD and the FAT16, original, Windows 95 will not work with one this big unless you partition it.

The problem isn't Windows 95 code, that IS trivial. It is the millions of lines of Cobol and mainframe assembler that are the problem.
