You're absolutely right! 15 Years ago, I wouldn't of thought Apple would drop Computers from their name and become a single smartphone manufacturer. It's worked out pretty well since 2007 and before with the iPod, but its reached a mature level and is in the hands of so many people young and old that its time for a new product line and will become risky as Android is also maturing and stable. Yes, Apple has its following, I own most of their products, happily. The innate value the original iPhone had, pushed others to create and enter their space and now as its so crowded I hope Apple can do something smarter than planned obsolescense on its product lines with iOS updates that aren't really helping older devices. I don't see the watch category and iPad seeing growth like the iPhone. The watch reminds me of the original iPhone in many ways and will see a big advancement in the 2nd and 3rd iterations but will level off after that.
