Well, if it was something that directly affected my investment, it might merit more scrutiny. But since it is a simple question of how NRs are presented, I'm not losing sleep over it. The basic facts in NRs are accurate, unless an intentional scam like BRE-X, and I think facts are a little bit better scrutinized these days (I hope, anyway. Can't do much about it either way, I guess).
You believe many things people tell you without checking up on it yourself. That's part of being comfortable with who is saying it. If I'm told ZEN doesn't submit it's releases before putting them out, I'm fine with believing that. Should it turn out to be false, I will admit my error, but it will not affect anything that I invest in anyway, so no damage done. If it is true, still no effect on my investments, simply scoring some points in a rather useless on-line discussion.
Everybody has an agenda. When investing, that would be to make a profit. I choose to believe people who I'm familiar with through years of reading their posts, thereby determining that they are reliable sources. I would not choose to take the majority of you at face value, because so many of your posts are useless crap, IMHO.
