Patrice, that's another factor here, tax loss selling. With the world markets in precarious situation, after the 1st, I think fund managers will be looking for safety in companies with cash, loyal customer base and low price to book - AAPL.

By next Friday I will be buying Apple, as I feel the markets are very vulnerable to a sell-off next week, although aapl will be less effected because all the wind is out of their bag already, but may lose a point or two.
