I still have a 1978 International Harvester Scout II. Haven't driven it in years, but used to take it to a big lake in Texas called Lake Richland-Chambers. Would also take a German Short-Haired Pointer that I had with me. Man, she loved the water. We would get within about 5 miles of the lake and she would start sniffing the air and working her nose and she knew we were getting close. On one occasion she got out of my yard and a neighbor had his sprinklers running and she tore up his lawn playing in the water. He was really mad too and I offered to pay him compensation, but he wouldn't take my money. He's a good neighbor though and we're still friends. :) * * *
