James the following statement you make is very confusing: "The taking of one and the leaving of another refers to the ones who will be taken in judgement at the Second Coming, not to the Rapture..." Please explain. Have you contradicted yourself or was this a typo? You also said: "My major concern about your views is that it robs the Church of expectancy as far as the Rapture is concerned..." In the first place James I do not spout my views. The Bible speaks for itself when we allow it to, and search out the truth from within the word of God and not man's books. You state further: "Another is the mishandling of Revelation in an attempt to find the Rapture somewhere in the period of the seven seals". James I do not attempt to find the rapture anywhere in scripture....because it is not written except in the word of men! James the only reason I am taking so much time to speak on this subject is solely because there is so many untruths and misrepresentations concerning the return of our Lord....And I for one used to be a part of it. But thanks be to God he took me out of that confusion.! James if you are not correct and we do not get raptured, then what will you do when satan disguised as Jesus comes first, and you are still here?...Will you know what you are suppose to be doing? James because if scripture is wrong and the rapture theorists are correct, then none of this matters. We will all just be raptured! No need to know anything,(Except of course salvation and what the blood of Jesus has to do with anything),but aside from that God wasted His time in revealing anthing else to us....Especially Revelations and Matt. 24 and Mark 13 and Luke 21, and let us not forget the wonderful teaching about the unforgivable sin and what we are to do when Jesus said, we will be delivered up..To who? When? Why?And what shall we say?... And who will be delivered up? Mark 13:8-10 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. Very interesting..." And the gospel must first be published among all nations".....Does this remind you of anything?...consider the day of Pentacost....and the beginings of the Christian church. It will happen again,just as Peter stated. Will you know what to do?...It is written! It is also the same trump spoken of in Matt. 24;31 Matt 24:31 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Rev 11:15 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. All the same 7th trumpet ( There is only one 7th trump!)...all heralding in the return of our Lord and the begining of His 1000 yr, reign on earth...
