A San Antonio newspaper put up an interactive map. You can look up any zip code in the state and see the number of CHL permits. You can look it up yourself if you want. I'm not going to do your work for you.

If I remember right, there are 299 zip codes in the state with over 1000 CHL carriers.

"I have never been so happy before about Texas carry laws till tonight getting back here."

ASK SPRING!

5 hrs · Chicago, IL ·

WARNING this will be a long post. I moved to the area a year ago and currently am back home in Chicago. I am staying with my Aunt who lives in Chicago in an area of the city that had lower/mid levels of crime but is currently in the process of coming up and yuppies moving in everywhere. She is only in a six month lease as they owners are selling the building soon and she only needed a temp space. Well she is currently the only renter in the four flats. The bottom is a store f...ront medical office. The building does not have cameras on the outside.

Now on to why I'm posting. Since the medical office has to have the medical boxes out back for Quest, this week there have been problems. The night before we got here this week someone had tried breaking in the back door and successfully broke into the boxes. She works later hours so when she got home she noticed the open boxes and inform the owners of the building. Well tonight rolls around and my fiancé and I get back a few minutes ago to see the boxes broken into again. It seems like it's prob some dope heads or something however it instantly made me feel so uncomfortable and fearing for my Aunt. The owners are not going to instal cameras since in two months the sell will take place. I leave tomorrow and want to buy something to make me feel okay. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking maybe a camera we can place at her doors that maybe we can view online. This way well at work or before making the four flights up she can make sure her doors are secure and shut (especially when she works late).

Also side note-- I have never been so happy before about Texas carry laws till tonight getting back here. Since we park in the alley all I could think about is how vulnerable we were like a sitting target of this crazy people are still hanging around trying to get in the building to the actual office and waiting for her to come home.

TX executions are on Wednesdays at 6 PM.

Whenever a cop killer is executed, there is a little ceremony performed by motorcycle riding police officers:
