Greg, These are the two scenarios I can think of looking forward into the future: 1. AMD continues to pursue technology out-of-reach of the present and eventually is driven out of oblivion (not necessarily bankruptcy) by competition(s). 2. AMD's gamble finally pays off. This company is now able to produce enough devices to be a major threat to competition(s), but the competition(s) fights back with even deeper price cut. Both AMD and competition(s) suffers in this very "near" future, and AMD eventually fades away through attrition of this Chip War. Now, which one do you think will happen? John.
