two things will drive us higher or lower: 1. japan, korea, and ASEAN nations 2. delfation if japan turns around in the next 3-6 months and asia stabilizes AND deflation is really "no inlfation, " we will go higher. if japan and asia tanks big time and we have surging DEFLATION then we will get killed. the charts tell us where WE ARE not WHERE WE ARE GOING--that is determined by structural conditions. remember that oil is a commodity and will also trade based on an inflation-deflation scenario as well as the use rate for rigs, demand for oil, etc.
