have been off to WSJ interactive site which includes smart money. They recommend compaq as a buy for '98 whatever that means. Give a 3-5 year growth rate of 18 to 20 per cent. In WSJ interactive they have an article about program trading in the week ending Dec. 19. It seems Morgan Stanley and 1st Boston were the prime movers last week acting as principals for their own accounts. Wonder who's going to be the culprit for this week's 100 point whammy between 3 and 4. Could it be Satan, as the Church Lady on SNL always concluded.

>> I'd like to buy more, but unfortunately, every time I buy it goes >> lower immediately thereafter

If that's the case, perhaps you should SELL a few shares, and maybe CPQ would immediately go UP for a change !!!!

Sort of an INVERSE EFFECT, perhaps...
