Pete:
Thanks. Re shorts, I don't claim any expertise here since I really only go for long term buying on value plays (i.e. I try to be smarter than the average bear). I'd like to learn more as it seems there are interesting ways to get a few extra points by shorting when overvalued where you win when the stock stays put. It looks like avg volume is about 0.5M shares so 4.3M shorts represents many days but there have been a few 2 and 3M spike days. Interesting that www1.wsrn.com indicates to me there are only 20M outstanding shares. Hard to imagine that 20% of the shares are shorted. Maybe I am reading something wrong but it goes with market cap which is 425M. quote.yahoo.com I would think the smart money would be in the first 1% to short a stock and when it gets to 20% we're talking chumps.....lets hope so!
