Brumar, Shep would have a point if he didn't sound like such a liberal curmudgeon.

Whatever happened to the states that moved up their primaries in order to maximize their political leverage in an election year? (This was a move that became known as front-loading.)

I don't understand how Iowa traditionally gets to go first.

and only has 6.5 electoral votes..... Really? You think Iowa has six and a half electoral votes?
It's even worse, they only have 6 votes.....100 million dollars spent on 6 friggin votes in a state representative of none other.....and in a good year only about 300,000 come out to caucus...????.
