Gary,

I noticed that Comp City in Chicago is advertising parallel and SCSI Zips for $89 (w/rebate) limited to current inventory. I am a little perplexed by the current inventory aspect, did they just overbuy or is something about to change - product or price "wise"? I am going to check it out tomorrow.

Do you think that there is any significance to these after holiday Zip sales or just part of the usual after Xmas inventory reduction?

I agree with you. I check the ZIP drive sales on CompUSA. 1/3 of the ZIP boxes were gone in about a week. I don't know if they do tricks on it, but it appears to me that the ZIP drives are selling well. But of course, there is no way for sure to know how many people return their drives.
