Following up on my (and Art Thiel's) thought that the real Super Bowl was 3 weeks ago, plus some of our recent discussion right here, I hereby resolve to henceforward refer to this day, whenever my team is not involved, as Chili Day, and I urge y'all to do the same :-)

By the way, I wish they would put this on the big screen up here at the Pass, where my daughter is enjoying her pregame skiing immensely despite the fact that there is quite a bit less snow than my last visit 3 weeks ago; it is incomparably more entertaining than the pregame twaddle they're showing:
