Lone Star - The national beer of Texas. Preferred Pearl, however, both brewed in San Antonio. Back in the '60s, Pearl introduced me to the Bock beer, when they cleaned their vats. Fell in love and it has never faltered. Guess that's why Shiner is my favorite. For a little bitty town, they have a hell of a product. My son came across a special at the px at Ft. Lewis where they had mispriced the Shiner. He bought a bunch with a smile on his face. You can take the boy out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas out of the boy.
