Patrice,

I presume you are talking about Apple's store-within-a-store arrangement with CompUSA. I like the idea but, so far, implementation has been a mixed bag (although generally pretty good). Here's a site dedicated to tracking progress in this effort: macsonly.com .

Robert, re/store-within-store,
The MicroCenter store near me has had a nice Mac department for 5-10 years since they opened. They doubled its size a year or two ago, and now it's pretty nice. Software assortment is what you'd expect from a mostly retail consumer clientelle. I buy what I can ther to support them, the rest from mail order. Their store in Boston near MIT is equally nice, too.

There is a CompUSA about an hour drive from me, but I haven't been there in several years. Their Mac dept really fell off, and it is not on the list of CompUSA stores getting the "within" treatment.
