Hillary said it last night. How can she POSSIBLY be the establishment candidate when she is female?

She's going to be the first woman president, hence not establishment.

That's what she said, at least.

You can argue that Sanders is actually part of the establishment he rails against, but I think it's a bigger whopper when Hillary claims she's "anti-establishment."

I actually don't argue that Sanders is part of the establishment at all...i think he's the least likely to be that. My argument is that his message is easy to deliver and idealistically unfair in a way...just as the message from the likes of Trump, Cruz and others on the GOP side. It's easy to say to folks that you will give them something they have never had before and that you'll make others pay for it...just like Trump will deport 11M illegals or make Mexico pay for a border wall, or Cruz will make the sand glow and the like. Hillary is in the unenviable position of having to lower the bar for these expectations...a much harder case to make to starry eyed youth and idealistic followers.

In any case the duh factor in your posts is at once amusing and silly...you speak as if politicians making an improbable political point is new and oh so shocking...c'mon man...just listen to some of the fantastic "whoppers" coming from all of these folks...it's an election.
