bottom will be sub 3

market makers just love to screw shareholders in reverse splits and this reverse is exacerbated by seasonality issues

the reverse split was a stupid idea - wonder whose idea it was ? Meyerson's ? hehehe - in my opinion i'd never take a market maker's opinion at face value - always seems to be some ulterior motive

MARK:
I have purposely kept quiet because I was in the middle of negotiations between ATEC and another Y2K company. There will be a news release soon concerning that venture.
As for the stock price, it has drifted down because there is no support at this time. I have reason to believe that after the new year there will be a new MM that has big plans for ATEC. They think the stock is fairly valuated(based on LAST years numbers, not on this years projected earnings) at $9.
I have to say that timing on this split was bad, right before the holidays and all, but the fundamentals have never looked as strong for ATEC. Their 2nd qtr. numbers will be out in febuary and I have a feeling that the smart money will have driven the stock higher before those numbers come out.
I will post more often now that the negotiations are complete. In fact, once the news comes out I will post to explain the implications for you shareholders.

It looks like I was wrong about 3 3/8 and the 3 1/8 I originally guessed as the bottom was more like it. The basis of the 3 1/8 is that pre split, support from April to mid July was at about 5/8. Five times 5/8 equals 3 1/8. Also, nothing has changed my opinion of the fundamentals pre split to post split. They are still good. The split simply created a buying opportunity. I am betting others are thinking the same was as I am and we are all trying to guess what the bottom will be. That's when the buying should take off, if my hunch is right. We will see if it keeps going up from here as it seems to be this morning, if it bases around 3 1/8 to 3 1/4, or if it breaks through 3 1/8.
