Sonki, I am wide awake since I have Cpq, Dell and HWP. We have seen a lot of these wonderful articles and heard the same from the horses mouths - CEOs of those cos. - and one of these days it will produce higher stock prices again. We have 3 more days.

Sonny

sonki, I looked closely at DELL again and DELL should be shorted into strength and with no rush to cover until 62-65. I see no fundamentals to convince me otherwise, do you see any before I get myself into a fix?

EMC is a fine stock, I traded it last year and went long leaps from 44 to 64 (pre-split) this year. The 4th quarter is historically weak from a price action perspective and I posted so on the Idea thread. The anticipated revenues from yr2k remediation will probably not enhance the bottom line until mid-98. Some lurker came by and posted that the CEO said revenues would be the strongest this quarter and one should believe the CEO rather than my post. Readers can decide on their own who to believe, it's their money after all. But I took my profits off the table and a few friends who knew my views avoided the fall and/or are still waiting to go long.
