Could be, but its not the same thing.

The food pantry around here is a place people can go in and get food for free. I don't know if they have toilet paper since I've never been there. It's run by churches through something called Northwest Associated Ministries - churches donate to it and so do individuals. In addition, churches have their own benevolence funds. You can designate as much of your contribution to that fund as you want. Nowadays, churches use the benevolence fund to supply shopping cards to the needy i/o stockpiling goods in the church. The groceries ( at least Krogers) donations here are inside the store, the store has bags of groceries you can pay for and they donate.
