HLYW (which I believe is #2 to Blockbuster)has had its own
problems and currently has a share tender offer out after a
serious decline in share value.

IMO, if DVD is out there the video rental outlets will have DVDs
available for rental. I am hoping for a "two birds with one stone"
solution here - DVD success will strengthen the rental stores.

If you can down load a movie in a couple of minutes, pause it, rewind it, at a price that is about the same as rental, the movie rental business as we know it is dead. They will have problems.

I'm just back from San Antonio. Good to have my own PC back.
