Hello Sonki, there will be days when the market will rally but the dominant trend is still down.

I am "position" trading this market and don't care if the flux reverses for a few days within the dominant trend. Those who trade the flux need to be nimble for it is anyone's guess as to which retrace up will be the last. On DELL I advised a friend to do a ratio write sometime ago if she felt comfortable being part naked. But then another acquaintance who is a good momentum trader went long on DELL, and I was thrown off a bit. Then I realize once again that position trading is very different than day trading, and one must filter out input that is incompatible with one's trading strategy.

As for MSFT, INTC, DELL ... the dominant trend is still down. CSCO is heading down too and this next rally may be its last hurrah for awhile.

Here's my current views on INTC, along with TT's outlook:

Wait for INTC to report before deciding when to uncover. My sense is that INTC could see 57-62, and if the Asian crisis ends the current semi cycle the stock could go much lower.
