OT: FATS, they were married in the lodge that was featured in the TV show (at that time), Twin Peaks... on an island outside of Seattle (where he lived, obviously)... was quite a splashy affair... Gates, Allen, Ballmer and other luminaries were there -- not my heroes having made my chops on Macs in the publishing biz before giving it all up to jump into offshore OSX... and now back to digital publishing, again, using Macs, but running LINUX, Windows and Mac OS X at the same time, beside each other, because my clients use all three and only easy way to do that is on a Mac... but I digress... at my cousin's wedding I was in a definite minority, but as I said, my cousin prefers (still) to use macs, too, which was interesting considering where he worked and how his direct report/boss for much of his time there was Bill... interesting trivia, Bill's famous line at HQ when subordinates would talk to him about products was, "That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard..." He said that to everyone and almost all of the time, so it wasn't personal, just... well, arrogant and sort of bastardly (I wonder if he brews beer?)... after my cousin was diagnosed with MS, he tried cutting back to 40-hr weeks and shed a lot of his daily responsibilities, eventually becoming Bill's "gatekeeper"... in order to reduce wasted time on "stupid ideas", before anyone could talk to Bill about anything, they had to go through my cousin first... in the biography of Bill, my cousin was "The Raptor"... all the higher ups had nicknames like that from Bill...
