Hello Anne,

I placed this same request on the MAXAM thread,

Can anyone direct me to a URL or a posting on MXAM or IPM thread that
first states that the EU or Australia are contemplating selling their gold to balance there books. My wife just saw this on TV and thinks it is new news and is worried.

ASAP appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Anne,
I was thinking the same thought on the drive home from work tonight, and this thought hit me. The tax year is coming to a close and many investors may wish to take the stock loss for the year. The MM's knowing this moved some stock to create the impression of large buying. They then began shorting again knowing that the shareholders wishing to write off losses would be dumping shares driving the price back down permitting the MM's to cover their shorts in just a few days. I wish I had thought of this last week. I could have recovered a quick $1500 and still had my stock.
Happy New Year to all.

Bob
