He was a doc who said, "You shouldn't buy that house." I was a respiratory therapist who said, "Why don't docs get this stuff?", and bought the house. Later on, I traded it for the same sized house, 40 acres, a swimming pool (pond) bigger than his, an old wheelbarrow, a broken down Corvair van, and $100K. Then I said, "Hey, Doctor Dad. Remember when you told me not to buy that house?" That was a good day.
