Zeev, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Unfortunately it confirms my suspicions rather
than reduces my uncertainty which is the opposite
reaction BOJ and MOF had in mind for investors.
I fear the market will eventually, if not soon,
take the Nikkei down through 14,000 to much lower
levels and determine for itself which are the
healthy institutions and which are not.

(BTW, knock off that "I'm just a farmer" routine...
every time you post that I unconsciously reach to
see if my wallet is still there.<VBG>)

So they changed the rules to avoid the selloff we anticipate
when the NIKI get below 14000. Will this change work for them?
Will the international banking community go along with it? Time will tell. However, this does change the probability of your 1000
point correction.

What is your opinion.

Zeev, When I read this post, it makes me think of the book I just read (F I A S C O - which was recommended by someone on this thread)that discussed some of the ways the Japanese play these games. I find it most interesting the timeliness of this particular book. Morgan Stanley must have trained these guys well!
