I have nothing to apologize about. I was simply recalling his recent comment, which to me, showed his ego.. and didn't seem overtly racist: When Cam Newton told reporters Wednesday, “I’m an African-American quarterback that may scare a lot of people because they haven’t seen nothing they can compare me to,” a former NFL quarterback felt a special kinship.
