Let's see.....don't know what to think about the thread.....well, I think it is a place where things hidden are brought to light, things said in darkness are said in the light of day. Scriptures misinterpreted for decades, spoon-fed by some teacher somewhere, are looked at close, and compared to the actual literal translation of the actual word originally used by highly godly men.

The leading "religious" documents that men live an die by, and perhaps go to hell by, are held up for public scrutiny. Hateful ideas that are not healtthy for the holder are brought out as being purely hateful, and undoubtedly losing any benefit of exposing the darkness that they might have otherwise.

Christians who only read what other people have decided was what the scriptures really say might look at myths being torn down by simply referring to the actual wording of the Bible. Then they might be more prone to study the word for themselves, and put all those "Christian commentaries" in the closet for awhile. That would eliminate almost everything but fellowship, I think.

I think it is an amazing place, but perhaps it is too amazing, and everyone that comes here for any reason will leave with the same ideas they had before. Who knows. I believe that would be very sad, actually.

I believe there should also be a thread for those who feel strongly there WILL be some sort of move of God very soon to take some people out of here before He slams the earth with unprecedented
wrath--and that those persons can discuss their views with each other under the first amendment.

It could be that too much is going to stay argument, and when it becomes argument, the Lord would have people part in peace and love on that particular point, put it under the blood in prayer, and leave that discussion and results to the Holy Spirit.

IMHO, that's all. I have never seen much harm come from discussing the scriptures and finding the truth of them, but I have been spooked by silence in the face of obvious error, and people refusing to study the matter. The only way the devil can ever lie to a Christian is through perverting scripture when people don't know which is true--what he says is true or what the Bible says is true. Who would be stupid enough to take the words of satan over Jesus, yet it is possible with the scriptures. Satan has so many people on payroll they are a legion of legions at this time.
