Hi RtS,

Thanks.

They and other pipelines for natural gas are going to be the first to recover from this oil collapse.

I know some of their employees - they do a lot of pipeline work in Tx.

We rented them a field for storing pipeline equipment on - class acts.

Of all the many sectors with in energy - pipelines are not in excess capacity.

Natural gas transmission is over 53 % of their revenue.

Tx has strongly embraced natural gas electricity vs coal vs national conversion.

KMI has many pipelines in the Permian and Eagle Ford shales zones (the best productive and still active in drilling).

They also have some large pipelines for natural gas to Mexico and growing.

Lastly they are very active in piping natural gas and liquids to some very big new projects with regards to plastics and petro chemical projects that are being built on the LA and TX coastlines for global exporting.

The ceo is the largest shareholder and gets $1.00 salary.

Bob

There is a lot to like about KMI and it will be a turn much like semi's in 2000 and banks in 2008 did, I think.

Bob

RtS,

Your comment on the number of stocks trading below "book value" made me look at the SOXM stocks in that regard.
It's heartening to see the number of stocks trading below book value increasing.

The last column shows the price to book for the "most recent quarter" for the SOXM stocks. The table also is updated to show the results of the first 2 days of trading for this week.
