After NOVA project completed, the earnings are increasing quarter after quarter.
.15 is the number after the project half completed, .21 is the number after its
completion. The NOVA project is so successful that the Analysts are expecting the
earnings will increase quarter after quarter afterwards. The following could be
the results for the current fiscal year:

1st quarter: .15
2nd quarter: .21
3rd quarter: .26 (est.)
4th quarter: .31 (est.)

total for fiscal 1997: .92 (est.)

>> Can someone explain why current EPS is @ .56 when 1st qtr results were .17 & 2nd qtr was .21
trended for the full year thats .76, analyst expectations are for better 3rd & 4th qtrs. earnings, so where
does .56 come from? Thanks in advance.<<
The EPS of .56 is obviously wrong. I just looked at CBS news watch (formerly dbc
on line) and found out this .56 EPS. I found lots of errors from this source. To
get correct answer: check Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition about VST. The
CBS news watch is quite popular as well as WSJI, that may be the reason way this
stock price has been going up and down like a yoyo lately.
