Once when cpq starts to move, it will take one week for CPQ to hit $70.
The current down of market is wide on most Tech sectors, and not just CPQ alone, and it is
caused by what so called Asian currency crisis. We all know the Asian crisis is also called
"Dollar shortage crisis", and the basic fundamentals in the Asian economy is not changed at
all. Once enough capitals flow into the Asian market to bridge the gap, the what so called
crisis is over. We already heard that the G7 and IMF will fill additional money to the
Korean industry, and Taiwan is to offer a loan of 10 Billion to Korea to help them to pass
the current crisis, and once the money is there, we can officially announce the crisis is over,
and things will be back to normal again. For Japan, the current situation just like what happened in US in early 1980, the saving and loan crisis. Now the Japanese government just
announced it will offer 100 billion USD to help the corperations to resolve the bad loan problem, and once the money is there, the crisis in Japan is over, and things be back to normal. Just remember, the fundamentals in Asia is not changed at all, things are the same
as one year ago before the currency crisis occured, the only problem is shortage of Dollar.
So , once the currency issue has an answer, everything will just be the same before the crisis.
To me, it is not a crisis at all !!! Asia is not over at all, things will get better after this what
people in the west called a crisis. Just like you borrow a loan to buy your car, and the
loan is due in two years, and at the end of the two years you do not have the money to pay off the loan,, and you are suddenly in a crisis. Now, the bank give you another three years to pay off the loan and lend you additional money to improve your financial situation, and you still have your job to generate regular incom to continue pay your loan in the next five years,
so all of a sudden, your financial crisis is over, and things back to normal again. This is what
happening in Asia.

In the US, the deflation will cause the FED to cut the rate in 1998, consumers will continue to spend on big items, and the economy will continue to grow. In the Tech sectors, you know
we are now in a period of tech revolution, and this will continue well into the 21 centry. You know everytime when FED cut rate, or the market expect the FED to cut rate, then what will
happen to the stock market!!!!!!

So the big environment in 1998, 1999, 2000 will be good for stock. As to CPQ, Corp all
over the world is continuing to buy PCs to improve their productivity, in 1998 two big things
will happen, i.e the release of Mercede from Intel, and WIN98 from Microsoft. The PCs and
the hand held smart devices will go to every family in he US, and CPQ is one of the big
player of this emerging market and will continue to grow fast.

So, just be patient, wait after the tax sell off season, when the big boy reposition their holdings in the TECH sectors in Jan of 1998, then you will see !!!!

Do you believe CPQ will be sold for $20 after split with being a major player in the major
high Tech industry ???? I do not think so. As to Mr. Mark, I think you realize that for being
on a short position, he wants the stock to go lower, so the best way to push the stock going lower is to frighten the small investors so that people go panic selling for no reasons but
fear. He never answer my question about why CPQ will drop to $42 which I asked him about
two weeks ago. He just keep putting frighten comments on the thread like " CPQ will go to
$42", " CPQ will go to $30", "CPQ will file Chapter 11" on the thread, and never have anything to back up the statement !!!!!! So, you may ignore his post on this thread !!!!
