Maybe you could just apply it to the national debt. Most Republicans greedily hop on to the Social Security and Medicare bandwagon ASAP claiming they are ENTITLED to the benefits because they paid in all their lives.

Kudos to you if you're being honest here. I've never actually met a rightwinger who is rejecting so-called entitlement payments. Most lie about it and take the money ASAP claiming it's their money and they would be foolish not to take it. Sophistry.

Especially 80 year old grocery baggers who say they are entitled not only to Social Security but free health care because they are old and white and speak English.
