This is the weekly look at the SOXM stocks and major indices in terms of percent change and actual values.

The positive bottom line on Friday cancelled out the negative bottom line on Monday. The other 3 days took the overall bottom line to -10.8. MU ended the week at 10.02, but was down -8.9% for the week. SUNE closed the week down -1.28(-47.6%).

FUBHO, if the bank deposits surplus money overnight with the Fed, they pay a fee. If instead they lend it to you, you pay them interest. So the bank has an incentive to lend it to you.

Can someone explain this to me? If banks are paid for deposits with NIRP, how does that work?
I don't know why a bank can't just keep the money that's not being loaned out in a vault

HI FUBHO,

Not sure on this but It applies to bonds and the guarantee of getting your 100% back from a mature bond.

I have read and heard that it won't work in the USA because we have MMF(Money Market Funds) which must be at 1.00 par.

Euroland does not have MMF's .
