<near term to one year not good> This is what creates an opportunity. I am looking to capitalize on the situation as soon as I feel that the bottom has been made. Besides, what I do put into wdc it will be considered a long term investment(partially; and some will be traded short-term just as I have always done with wdc and many others). My time horizon is very diversified. <class action suit> This is just another day in the life of business. Suits are happening every day and will not affect my investment decisions because this is the nature of the American way. Sue now ask questions latter. You take a chance by getting up in the morning. I stand by my decision on when and what to buy/sell and it is my responsibility to determine what is a buy/sell. If things are too good to be true then it probably is. Besides it was known in advance that the channel had pricing and supply problems way before the announcements(June and July). You had plenty of time to move before the herd. I really feel bad for those people who got burned but some things just happen and there is nothing you can do but move on. Money will be made and lost with the snap of your fingers some times. I think that wdc is a world class co. and I will keep on buying all the way down to $1.00/sh. when I get the right signals. Call me crazy or whatever but I like to ride the cycles be it on a daily or a monthly cycle. This is what I have a passion for. Getting in real low and out at the peak. This is no easy task and requires a lot of effort but well worth it. good luck to all, John A.
