Sanders was married on one day and left for the Soviet Union the very next day. Nowadays liberals are denying it was a honeymoon but Bernie & his wife have CALLED it a honeymoon. Everything is political to Marxists, even honeymoons.

As mayor of Burlington he had a foreign policy, choosing cities to be "sister cities" of Burlington - one in Sandinista ruled Nicaragua, one on the occupied West Bank, and a dreary city north of Moscow. He also visited Havana as mayor. Yep, a fanatic Marxist.
