It is traditional, has been during our lifetimes, that presidents don't get to choose justices in the last year of their presidency. They can choose them, but they haven't usually been confirmed.

Get over it. More than anything, this is Obama's outrageous behavior as president coming back to bite him. Had he not been so hostile he might have had some basis for getting a little help. But he has been rude, arrogant, lying, and just hostile toward the Congress. It has been so bad that media observers have pointed out that he "does not like" to have to meet with members of Congress. Fine, can't blame him. But don't become president if you don't like the job.

It isn't going to happen. Unless Obama sends Ted Cruz or someone, Obama is not going to have ANY SAY in the matter.

The Democrats are getting a taste of their own medicine.
Personally, I think the GOP should block every damn thing Obama sends them, but I doubt McConnell has the stones to go full "Reid".
