Good question, but the answer is No.

biz.yahoo.com

"....
In connection with the Bearing industry, New Departure has entered into formal negotiations with Shar Bearing Corporation of Russia to be their sole distributor in North and South America. New Departure is currently testing Shar's product for noise and tolerance standards in the company's facilities in Dallas. The Company is also negotiating with several Chinese manufacturers of Bearings to be the sole importer of their product, for the same geographical area, and has entered into a representation contract with a Beijing Attorney to aid in those discussions.
...."

Looks to me like they will be re-selling/distributing these 'cheap' overseas bearings, and making LOTS of money. And by picking the companies, they are also getting the 'best'.

Quality always sells. Just hope that New Departure doesn't re-sell them at too low of a price :-), since unfortunately some people including Fortune 500 companies equate 'cheap' with 'low quality'.

No not at all. MIDL has just finished the quality assurance and inspection process on the Russian bearings. Remember MIDL is not a typical auto or mechanical bearing company. They lease bearing to the Fortune 500 companies. I do not think we will see these bearing being sold over the counter of an auto parts house.

Shortly I believe everyone will see the true nature of the business as the contracts and leases for bearings become public.

Thanks
