Hi Bob,

I do not fully understand what Euro land is doing.

The negative rates are to force banks to lend and get consumption going.

What Euro banks can hold as assets greatly differs from US banks.

I could very well be wrong but the conversation came from Bill Gross and Tom Keane.

Gross said it would not work well in the uS because we have MMF and euro land does not.

This all comes from Basel III.

There will be an American version of MMF in bonds that sidestep negative rates per Gross.

I've never had bonds so I mat have heard something and misunderstood .
